Exchange under Mountain Lion

I have major problems using Exchange in Mountain Lion. Under Lion everything worked fine (Mail, Calendar, Contacts incl. global address list). Under ML only Calendar works, Mail and Contacts show connection errors. Our corporate server is Exchange 2007.

Has somebody a fully working Exchange in ML?

Any ideas?

Many thanks!

The same procedure as I had mentioned a few pages back in this thread is continuing to work for me as well. I had earlier said that it won't work after a while. I was wrong and I figured out the problem. If you follow the steps as specified by me in Page 24/25, it should work for most people, if not all. Make sure you follow the below solution as well.

After entering the command into the terminal and re-opening Mail, it used to ask me if I wanted to connect to our Exchange server. This was becoming quite annoying every time. So, next time, I clicked "Show Certificate" and I checked the box that said "Always trust xyz.company.com....". Now, I closed Mail and opened it back up after 10 mins. The issue popped right up. .local extension got inputted automatically. The solution is to not check mark "Always trust xyz.company.com...." and it should work. The only hassle is to click on the "Connect" button every time you open Mail. I have been using like this for the last 6 days without any issues.

Hello,

Excuse me my English I used a online translator.

I have lost very, very much time with this Exchange problem since July 27. I upgraded on mountain lion!

I have experienced all the above errors (internal server on one time with .local extension, messages on the server are not visible and also crashing of the mail apps).

I am quite sure that the error on the part of Apple ML is caused.

Because everything with my Exchange account on

iPhone,

iPad,

Windows 7 with Parallels with Office 2010 and

Mail to Lion 10.7.4 runs without problems.

Mountain Lion I have installed umpteen times (acquisition of the lion or clean install, etc.).

But what surprises me is that since I am switched to Exchange online on Microsoft (www.offce365.com) I don't have any problems. In any case still not (for three days)?

Most of the problems I have had with my Exchange hosting www.df.eu (Exchange 2007 on Windows 2003 R2 server),

then I had www.cortado.com (Exchange 2007 on Windows 2008 R2 server) and

then I was at www.qualityhosting.de (Exchange 2010 on Windows 2008 R2 server).

I mostly problems had with Hoster DomainFactory and the fewest problems with QualityHosting.

But I never had problems as I switched to Microsoft Exchange Online.

The only advantage with so much lost time for me is that I now have 25 GB available instead of 16 GB space on Echange Account and decreased the price of 12.95€ / month at only 3.57€ / month.

I wouldn't like to make here advertising, I now also thinking (after trying FOUR Exchange Hoster) that a configuration of Exchange in addition could be the answer additional to the error with Apple bug in ML?

I know that many Exchange user have own company server and a change to the online services of course is impossible.

Hopefully will come up a solution with 10.8.1

Dear greetings to all.
