After upgrading from Lion to Mountain Lion on my iMac. My Server Admin Tools, I use to monitor and control my Snow Leopard server are gone.
Is anyone else having this issue? I've been searching Apples website and other internet sources and haven't seen anything on this yet.

I did not even try my Lion server app after installing Mountain Lion, I just added the new Server app

Since I'm a user of Lion Server as well, I was wondering before making the jump to ML and buying the ML client package...
I ended up acquiring the new Server app form MAS.
Yes, I too had the old server app not work to be able to look at other machines running lion server, and when I upgraded the ML machine to have ML server, it couldn't connect to the lion server either.
Especially uncool: the server tools just disappeared without warning. No incompatability notice or anything. 😮
When you say "Server app" from MAS, do you mean "OS X Server" for $19.99? I don't really want to install ML Server (just yet), but I definitely want the admin app if it supports legacy SL servers.

So what? The OP was bemoaning their loss from SL Server.
No...he was bemoaning the loss of the apps after upgrading to ML.

Well, I assumed running his SL server was more important that ML and that he'd restore Lion and the tools so he could continue working. Maybe my assumption's wrong, but that'll be an OP response. I know that in his shoes, that's what I'd do.😉

I hope that Apple will soon publish a solution to this. Apple has left us hanging all System Administrators.
In my town, this is called leave us with the *** in the air.
Please note, that it appears that one will not be able to connect to old servers with Apple Remote Desktop either, unless these are running ARD 3.6. Some servers like the Xserve G5 cannot be upgraded top ARD 3.6, so these servers effectively cannot be managed by Sys Admins running ML.
You can still connect via Screen Sharing, crude though it is.
Good point. Apple needs to give the Sys Admins the appropriate tools to support legacy products, though.
