I have this error message to but in French :

I had the same problem but I manage to fix it.

Just make a Repair Disk Permission using Disk Utility, after that it will install fine in your Mac.

It work for me.

I tried to start in safe Mode, then I logged on Apple store and tried again. It seems to work right now.

Anyone still getting the same error message? I tried repairing the Main HD with no luck... Didn't make a bit of difference.

I hope Apple Gets On It Soon!!

I'have the same message (in French). I restart Os X Lion in safe mode and now in safe mode i've been able to restart the download but from zero.

The servers are presumably overloaded with thousands and thousands of people wishing to download ML at the same time.

How to start in safe mode?

Reboot, just after you heard the boot tone press the shift key until you see the boot animated logo. Then release the shift key be patient it will start slowly. when your mac is started in the upper right corner it must be write safe mode.
