Apr 23, 2013 8:50 AM in response to henrijacobsby gsspike,Yes I am here complaining and so is every one else who has a wifi issue. I know some of you don't believe me that I have worked with Apple on my issue, fine. But lay off me. What difference does it make to you.
If anyone has a true fix post it.
That is all I'm asking.
Please, pretty please.
I'm sorry for being upset. It's only wifi.

Apr 23, 2013 9:38 AM in response to gsspikeby Csound1,OK.
What have you tried so far, have you made a new WiFi connector or a new location? Have you reset the router or changed security levels. Have you run without security as a test.
There are more things but I want to get some idea of where we are right now.

Apr 30, 2013 6:59 AM in response to Csound1by Art Machine,Where are we? I'll tell you where we are. We're nearly a year on, Mountain Lion has been updated to 10.8.3, and we still have the problem, and Apple (as far as I can tell) has yet to acknowledge that it even is a problem.
I have tried the following:
* Making new connection
* Making new location
* Deleted wifi keychains
* Changing router to WPA2 security
* Changing router altogether!
* Tried Snow Leopard driver
All of which leads me to think that it's the hardware that is at fault - which would explain quite neatly why Apple haven't acknowledged the fault!

May 12, 2013 9:07 AM in response to Medexxby Corradomac,I have a Mid 2011 iMac and I did have the wifi issues on Lion.
On Mountain Lion (fresh installation) I didn't have the wifi problems until I upgraded to 10.8.3 (combo update)!
So since 10.8.3 my iMac is affected with the wifi issues. I don't have the time for a fresh installation and to me it seems useless since I'm not a heavy user. After many hours of reading (lost hours Apple) I think it must be a OS issue!
Please Apple fix this, it is very annoying!

May 18, 2013 2:06 PM in response to Art Machineby Art Machine,Okay, a little update....
I phoned Apple Support and was walked through a quite involved procedure which seems to have cured the problem.
It involved deleting preferences and cache, deleting the existing WiFi connection, repairing disk permissions, and setting up a new connection.Unfortunately I didn't keep notes, as I would have liked to have given fuller details here.
