Mountain Lion: Airplay was the only feature i wanted!!!

I bought my iMac in mid 2011 (and I see now its a mid 2010 iMac), and I dont get AirPlay? For the first time, I actually want my money back from Apple... :-/

The previous version Mac minis, current version Mac minis, previous version MacBook Pros, current version MacBook Pros, previous version MacBook Airs and current version MacBook Airs are all supported. So, it's no "only the newest iMacs". It's possible that in the future Apple could release an update for Mountain Lion that adds support for some older model Macs. But we'll have to wait and see.

I have now tried AirParrot and the mirroring works fine, but I can not test if the audio works when using the trial (it just asks my to install some driver again and again)... and I am not buying that app if the audio does not work.


Apple, please find a fix for us with "old" iMacs. I am not buying a new iMac just for this feature 😝
