My ipad has suddenly stopped connecting to our home wifi for no apparent reason.My wife's stll connects without any problem. What should I do?

Soft reset it, home button and power button until apple logo appears.
Also try to reset your network settings, you'll need to join the network etc again afterwards.
Power cycle your router, i.e. unplug it for 30 secs and plug back in.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I tried all the above. My iPad recognizes my home wifi as well as the free wifi network close to our home but is unable to connect. Our iPhones and the other iPad connect perfectly. This happened suddenly while I was browsing the Internet. If I can't it to work soon, I'll try a Genius Bar.
Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.
The recommendation to do a reset worked for me. While I was using the ipad it stopped working on wifi. For a bit it worked on 3G but then couldn't connect either way. I had thought it was due to needing a recharge and been at below 5%, but still didn't work on a full charge. Also got rid of some apps thinking it was a memory problem. The reset, however worked perfectly.
