i set up email accounts on my Ipad2 i receive email but cannot send.

Did you use these settings;
incoming server: pop3.cbeyond.com
outgoing server: smtp.cbeyond.com
IMPORTANT: SSL OFF, Port 110
i tried that but it keeps giving me a "REJECTED BY THE SERVER"
THESE SETTINGS ARE FOR I PHONE OR IPAD
These are the right settings for iPad and iPhone, it's the same.
Remove the account and add it again.
Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
That was the trick. thank you so much. On the optional i was leaving it blank.
