Since I've updated, my computer is forcing itself to sleepmode and it will no longer let me wake it up?

it will just for no reason go to sleep mode and i cant click back to wake it up. i have to force shut down the computer. sometimes it starts up and sometimes it goes into sleepmode before it even starts
