Blackberry Calendars not syncing with iCal

For a while my blackberry hasn't been syncing with my ical. The blackberry desktop software continually has the There are no writable calendars for syncing on this computer message.

I've looked around on forums and tried disabling the iCloud calendars, and then adding calendars only 'on my mac.'

However this hasn't worked and I'm still greeted with the 'There are no writable calendars for syncing on this computer message.'

Has anyone else had the same problem and knows of a fix. Any help would be appreciated!
