Notification Shortcut
Is there a keyboard shortcut or a mouse gesture to open the notifications? I've tried swiping to the left with two fingers, didn't work.
I really don't like pressing that icon.
Thanks.

Swiping to the left with two fingers works, but there's a trick that differentiates that from scrolling to the left: start with your fingers off the trackpad on the right side, and swipe them to the left onto the trackpad.
EXCELLENT TRICK, Thomas! (I need a copy of "Swiping for Dummies")
Well, I have Magic Mouse, not trackpad. Does it work on Magic Mouse?
"Swipe to the left from the right edge of the trackpad to visit Notification Center anywhere in OS X. Even from a full-screen app." They say nothing about Magic Mouses.
Thanks for helping.
I have no experience with a Magic Mouse, but a quick Google search shows a lot of people saying that there's no gesture for the Notification Center on a Magic Mouse.
The two finger swipe gesture (that sounds rude) is for Magic Trackpad
