Smart Mailboxes not working with Exchange folders?

this is something new to Mountain Lion

I am building a simple smart mailbox that is supposed to show the messages from a sub-folder from my Exchange account

when you set-it up, you can select the folder:

User uploaded file

when you review the smart mail-box the folder is not selected... it's like it's not storing it

Same issue here, I did an upgrade from Lion.

This is on an Exchange account. It used to make problems before, where it at some point (I suppose it was server endpoint changes) suddenly forgot the mailbox(es) configured in the smart mailbox, and I had to configure them all over again. But then it at least applied them and it worked for a while.

It's really annoying, as a lot of my mail folder organization relies on those smart mailboxes...

I have exactly the same problem. I upgrade from 10.7 where it works well but now, in 10.8 it doesn't. And it only happens with folders located in an Exchange account.

For the moment, I've changed the folder from Exchange to my iCloud account, and it works fine, but I don't like this solution.

I hope there's a solution for this.

Same problem here.

I have several Smart Mailboxes displaying the emails from a subfolder of my exchange account using the Message is in Mailbox filter. With Mountain Lion Mail they appear sorely empty. Moreover, if opening the settings, the filter points to 'no Mailbox' even if I just set it.

The same Smart Mailboxes are working fine if applied to the subfolder of an imap account, for instance.

Did anyone ever find a solution for this? I'm growing tired of seeing all of my junk mail in my unread mail. The smart mailbox marked as "not in junk folder" is showing me my thousands of messages in my junk folder that are unread. I delete them, but the new ones still show up.

Very frustrating when something worked before, but doesn't now and their isn't a way to go back.
