Applications not launching correctly

Hi all,

I had an issue when upgrading that when I launched safari from its normal dock icon, it launched with no window as such, just the toolbar along the top. In working the issue, I realised that if you have moved safari to a sub folder, in my case "browsers", then the new safari is not the one that opens, but instead the old one. The new safari is installed in its normal place in the root of the apps folder, and when I deleted the icon from the dock, and launched the new safari, everything works fine. Just a note which should help some people.
