Pressing right arrow while selecting a folder in sorted finder list views

This had no effect in Lion, but it has in Mountain Lion. It shows the folders content order categories. Clicking on a category and pressing right arrow again reveals the subcontent. Unfortunately the folder indent is way to small and a left arrow click does not revert to the previous state.
