Q: iphone is disabled connect to itunes HOW????

my iphone is disabled and says connect to itunes.
my iphone was not updated to the latest software nniether is my itunes on windows.so when i connect to itunes (which i have never done before) it only gives me option to restore and update,and when i do it after some time my phone exits recovery mode and starts up. what to do please help me

Jan 29, 2016 8:51 AMby _rhyse_,My iphone was disabled so i connected it into my computer and clicked the "update" because my ios was outdated. after it was updated successfully via itunes, it rebooted and the apple logo appeared then "iPhone is disabled, connect to itunes" still appeared with plain black background. i tried connecting it into my computer but itunes says that it is locked and i needed to unlock it but i cant. i tried to hold on to the home button to turn it off but i cant. it's stuck. help me please.

May 18, 2016 4:04 AMby Spoodle18,Hey, I REALLY need help. ive been stupid and forgot my password on my phone after recently changing it. ive tried that many times ive disabled my phone. i have the recent update of itunes and computer is all up to date. ive put my phone into recovery mode and connected to itunes, gone to restore, accepted all i need to accepts and then nothing!!! no progress bars on phone or on computer, just a box in the bottom saying done? help me. i need my phone for work purposes.

- it was stolen in 2014 and reset that december. I never reconnected to itunes or set it back up as I was using an iphone5s. I wiped it and the police found it using the "find my phone". because I had a more current phone and the 4s was a glorified mp3 player, I left it to sit as backup phone or mp3player.
- I tried reconnecting to itunes recently (may 2016) to reset but it said the password must be entered, i tried every combination of things i would have used and none work.
- it bricked saying connect to itunes. however itunes wants the password and i dont get that option anymore
- when i click on file > devices > they are ALL greyed and there are no options that can be selected
- i did the force reset and force to itunes by holding power and home to shut off and held onto it past the apple logo which prompted the connect to itunes to reset. this also doesnt work. it asked to update. i tried update and it crashed. i tried reset and it also crashed.
- when i connect this device to itunes to restore/ update or anything at all i get "an unknown error has occured (0xE8000065).
there isnt any content on here that needs to be saved, as far as i know its empty from the erasing when it was stolen. I just want this to work again so i can have it play music in the iboo i have.
