Amazon sold me UNLOCKED iPhone and delivered it LOCKED HELP

A) Amazon is not an authorized source for iPhones.

B) You need to actually READ the product description before you go whining about not getting what you paid for.

Sorry, no one here can help you, nor can or will Apple. You purchased an iPhone from a non-official source, you're on your own. You'll have to deal with Amazon. Next time, purchase from an official source & you won't have this problem.

Nothing about that ad you link to says it is unlocked. It clearly refers to an AT&T phone, meaning locked to AT&T.

Amazon does not sell unlocked iPhones, only Apple does.

Try and return it through Amazon if you can.

BTW, this isn't even a purchase from Amazon; it's an Amazon vendor "Worldwide Distributors" and Amazon is just the billing agent. And checking on "Worldwide Distributors" their vendor ratings are pretty low.
