Q: OS X Mountain Lion only boots in safe mode!
My MBP had OS X Lion on it and yesterday when OS X Mountain Lion came out I bought it. I downloaded it and installed it. When the computer was booting up after installation the computer kept restarting again and again and was not ready to come to the login screen. I held down the power button and turned it off. I turned it on again and it still didn't work. I held down the shift key while turning on and it did boot in safe mode on Mountain Lion! I tried checking lots of stuff on the internet and nothing worked. Multibeast was not ready to install, I resetted the PRAM, downloaded VooDoo Loader, changed the com.apple.Boot.plist file, and it still didn't work! I don't know what to do now. Also I tried holding down option key while startup and I select Macintosh HD and still doesn't work. Turned on safe mode again and tried changing startup disk and says "Building boot caches on boot partition failed." Can somebody please help me?
