I have a 10.4 older apple. everytime I print I get a print error. I am connected to the printer via apple talk. It doesnt matter if i us a ip address.

I Have a 10.4 on a older power mac system.

Evertyime I print I get a print error. I am connected to the printers fine. Is there any way to rest this Mac to defaults. It used to work fine . Any ideas.

How can I up grade this operating system or is it not worth it

To avoid these issues, you guessed it, you shouldn't delete the /tmp symbolic link from the Mac OS X volume.


If /tmp is missing, it's easy to make a new one by following these steps:


Mac OS X 10.3 or later


Recreate the missing /tmp link by using the Disk Utility application to repair permissions on your Mac OS X startup volume.
