I always get an error message saying that there was an error downloading the picture. Why does this keep happening? What can I do? And how can I prevent it? This didn't happen before. Oh, and it happens on my iPhone too..

First you need to get your keyboard fixed. All those Caps are rude and very hard to read
Then you need to actually share specific information beyond some error occurs
What version of iPhoto?
What is the exact error message?
What camera?
What has recently changes since it worked?
Anything else that would help a total stranger who only knows what you tell us assist you.

Well, I'm sorry, I needed to get the attention of other users for help.
The version of my iPhoto is 8.1.2
"iPhoto cannot import your photos because there was a problem downloading an image."
I have a Nikon D5100.

As a Test:
Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Create Library'
Import a few pics into this new, blank library. Is the Problem repeated there?
