Firmware updates for 2011 and 2012 models was released yesterday.

Jul 26, 2012 5:20 PM in response to Kappyby caxs01,Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Apple anounce in the Keynote that the power nap feature was going to be available on the second generation MacBook Air. I thought my MacBook Air 2010 was one of them that would have it. Thank you for your help!

Jul 30, 2012 8:50 AM in response to caxs01by TAndersen,I thought they said that too! I have a 2010 11" air. This is really the first time I noticed Apple releasing OS and not releasing everything to all macs that are capable of running it. Kind of like they do with the iphones. Airplay may make sense due to the processor but people have used Power Nap on 2010 airs. I am actually pretty dissapointed in Apple with this release. 1 &1/2 years is really a short time to already be outdated.

Check 'Enable PowerNap' under the Power Adapter tab (and also the Battery tab if so desired).
Not sure what specific features you are expecting, but PowerNap features occur while the computer is in sleep mode (ie. when you are not using it).
