dyld: DYLD_ environment variables being ignored because main executable (/usr/bin/sudo) is setuid or setgid

Unsetting the variables will remove the warning but will also break the programs that need them.

You say it's been reported as a bug, but the page you point to says, "Please note: Reports posted here will not necessarily be seen by Apple. All problems should be submitted at bugreport.apple.com before they are posted here...." I'm assuming you did that. I definitely have a love/hate relationship with Apple about its secrecy. :-)

A program should not rely on the output on STDERR from a command line tool. The exit code of the tools is still the same and anything using ps, sudo, ... should work as expected.

If someone has DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH set is because some program needs to find some libraries. Removing them is not an option.

I reported it directly to Apple but as you say Apple is not so transparent :-)

In short, I find this solution:

comment out `export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=XXX` in .bash_profile

I do not have DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH in bash env

Thats not a solution if you need DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH set for some programs to run. Turning it off will prevent the message to be displayed but some programs will not work anymore. I think this issue whould be addressed by Apple as a bug

agreed, it is a temporary fix. And I do not have DYLD_LIBRARY_PATH shell env varible. What I did is not to exprot LD_LIBRARY_PATH.

Nice. My ruby installation is trashed. Not finding a solution. Going back to Ubuntu. Apple is too busy suing ppl to keep their OS working.

The OS is working. It is just printing an unecessary warning on standard error. I don't really see how this could "trash" a Ruby installation.

Try downloading Command Line Tools via XCodes and let me know if you still face this problem.
