Tried downloading fiormware for Power Nap. Open it up to install and it says the software is not compatible with my system. Why not? I have a mid 2011 MacBook Air.

But in my system report SMC firmware is 11" MBA

You try to update feom software update
There's an error in the documentation for the 11" and 13" MBairs, they have the firmware level reversed for the two models. Use software update to download the correct version.
Software update says "No Updates Available".
