i haven't even had my iphone for five months and the charging "connecter" cord is broke and wont charge my phone,
so does apple just give us the ********* quality cord they can?

The cable is covered by the same warranty as the iphone.
Get a replacement.
No need to over react.
I have never had a problem with a cable, nor has anyone I know.
