Kind of frustrating because I either have to go in and delete my adress from the recipients or delete the redundant mail I get.
Is this a bug or is there a way to fix this?

but that's not it – the setting wasn't checked in my prefs.
Also, that setting goes for all outgoing mails,
not only replies with multiple recipients.
are you sending it to a group?could you be part of that group?if you send an email say to just one person, does that work?
I have noticed this same thing. It has just been since the ML upgrade.
If I respond to a listserve email with reply all my email address gets included.
Yeah forgot to say this issue turned up with upgrading to Mountain Lion,
was fine in Snow Leopard (can't say anything about Lion, only used that for a day).

Have you tried setting up a new email account say gmail?
Also, try setting it up on another user account and test if that issue persist
I have exacly the same issue. It is something conected only with ML. With Lion it was all ok. What is strange sometimes all is ok but with email from somebodyelse is wrong.
Just noticed another bug:
I have 4 different e-mail-accounts on 4 different servers (some pop, some imap).
No matter what account I receive a mail on,
when I hit reply the mail always is set to be sent from my first account,
not the one the mail is adressed to,
(although that's not set in the preferences).
I have not this kind of problem like you. My only issue is replay to all problem.

I don't have another user account and wouldn't like to go through the trouble of setting up one now as there are already other users corroborating the issue. (which most certainly means the problem would persist on a new account of mine).
No, this isn't expected behaviour. It's something with your system.
Best place to start is to log in to Safe Mode (restart the mac while holding down the 'shift' key till you see the progress bar underneath the grey Apple logo) and test.
Do you see the same problem when in Safe Mode?

Just to clarify, if I have the email address of me@a.com and me@b.com, and I get an email from you@b.com which is sent to me@b.com, and has someone@b.com in the cc, if I hit "Reply All", the reply email is set up to go to you@b.com with someone@b.com and me@b.com in the cc. This is *WITHOUT* having the option to include myself in the cc set. To make it worse, since me@a.com is my default account, this reply (even though it was sent to me@b.com) comes from me@a.com.
If I were to just hit "Reply" - and not "Reply All", the reply email will go to you@b.com, but will be from me@a.com (again, the default account) - however, I am no longer included in the cc (because, again, I *don't* have the option to include myself in the cc set).
It makes it pretty hard to manage emails...it used to "just work" - but not anymore. Every time I reply, I need to remember to check the "from" field - and every time I reply all, I need to remember to remove myself from the list.
BTW - This is the same behavior as the iOS Mail app as well - and has been since the very beginning.
