Ok if the device is no longer supported you may need to look for other drivers. Apple does not write printer drivers they cooperate with printer manufacturers to keep them up to date by advising them what is needed. If Samsung did not provide a updated driver then you will have to look for other alternatives. One may be the Gutenberg foundation. Google it and search for a driver for your printer. Before you do check the obvious such as cables and resetting the printer.

Can't install the software for the Samsung CLX-3180 Series because it is not currently available from the Software Update server.

This is the message I get when I try and install the printer that my MacBookPro Retina with ML sees in the list. This tells me that its an APPLE issue, not a samsung issue. Why does Apple's software update server need to do anything with this driver?

Tried that link in the last post. Still does not list the Samsung CLX-3185 or the 3180 Series. I am trying to manually add the printer via network and IP tab. Is this not the best way to do it? It sees the CLX-3180 Series in teh drop down list of drivers, but says it is located on Apples servers. Doesnt work. Any other ideas?

Like you, I see that it is listed in the supported devices, but when i manually try and add the printer, the 3185 or the 3180 series is not listed. So, they list it as a supported device, but after installing the driver pack, why is this particular device I need, not listed in my driver choices when trying to add my printer? That is why I say it is not working.
