Twitter Integration Problem

I have that exact problem. I bought this OS X for Twitter, and now it doesn't work. Even though I changed my password and everything, but still, doesn't work.

Please help!

i had the same issue since upgrading , but now its solved 🙂 !
please remove your twitter account from prefrences ,then SHUTDOWN your mac (shut down not restart, and uncheck "resume .... ")
turn on your mac and use your twitter login again

I have the same problem as original poster. We can't delete the account from system preference because we can't add it in the first place!

Exactly! We're not able to delete something because there isn't any account to delete.

Then , if this is the case , just shutdown (not restart) and uncheck the resume feature for this time ,

It randomly started working for me now! maybe the servers are not as loaded anymore?

I couldn't get into twitter, messages or facetime. What fixed it for me was checking the automatically date and time

At the top right click the day and time --> Choose "Open Date & Time Preferences," and make sure that "Set date and time automatically" is checked.

I had this problem too. Atfer trying to sign in to Twitter I kept getting 'username or password incorrect' but I'm certain I was entering them properly. I left if for a day without trying to sign in then tried it again and then it worked.

For me this procedure has worked:

You must contact the Twitter Support (https://support.twitter.com/forms/apps), fill the form with your data, at "App being used" select "Twitter for Mac", at "Regarding" select "Sign In", at "App version" write 3.0.0 and at "Describe your issue" tell that you can't login and the app says "Could not authenticate you".

You will receive an email with a procedure to follow and in 24 hours the Login verification is disabled.
