I installed Mountain Lion on Wednesday. Everything went well except Mail is not functioning properly - it tends to freeze and requires forced quit. In addition, all of my contacts disappeared. Anyone having these problems?

Me too -- as soon as I open mail it briefly seems ok, but then freezes with the rainbow circle. I also can't open my contacts file. I tried reinstalling lion from scratch, but it was no help. I've had to shift to using Outlook.
Hello I have got the same problem is terrible, i can not use mail like before, i have to check my mail on browser...
Did you fix it?
