Q: iPhoto on OS X 10.8

I'm about T+24-hours Mountain Lion install on my 2012 iMac.  The wost part is, I'm hosting the kids' summer camp and supposed to be showing them iPhoto and iMovie on computers that also have had the new OS for less than 24-hours.  Doing some off-the-clock preparation and I'm having a but of trouble hoisting the company flag.

- Click iPhoto on the dock

"To open your library with this version of iPhoto, it first needs to be prepared."

- Click "learn more"

- Download updater

". . ."

- repeat above

- Download updater again

". . ."

- Search for unknown location of recent download

- Locate updater inside hidden downloads folder and install

"installation complete"

- Start again from beginning

- Repeat four times

I'm afraid that you're going to need to ask that question again, as we can't see your machine (nor read your mind, unfortunately)

I didn't understand which part you needed to be clarified, but no matter.  I discovered a workaround using instructions found on internet. . . not on Apple support website

    - In Finder, navigate to home > pictures > iPhoto Library

    - Move the iPhoto library to desktop.

    - Change the name of folder.

    - Open iPhoto without selecting a photo library.

    - Import photos from renamed library folder on desktop.

I added my new iMac to my profile but it didn't show up on my previous post
