Bug on Right Click at Trackpad on OS X Mountain Lion

I installed OS Mountain Lion today but I found a bug, I think so. The option "Second Click" on trackpad doesn't work as wish. I set "Click or tap two fingers", two fingers work perfectly but bottom right corner click still working as left click and should work as right click. If I set just "Click in bottom right corner", right click work perfectly. Someone can help me! Thanks a lot!

Hello All,

I have the exact same problem and I have noticed newer Macbook Pro models do not behave the same. In short:

with default options for Trackpad:

-Secondary click: Click or tap with two fingers.

This will disable the bottom right corner click not like other models which allow both (two fingers and corner Right-Click) selecting the same above options

Problem shows in Macbook Pro 17" (mid 2010)

Other model with normal behavior Macbook Pro 17" (early 2011)

Please note that it was working on 10.6.8 and lost this option after installing 10.8

I just upgraded from snow leopard and had this problem, then figured it out.

It says 'click or tap with two fingers" and that is it literally. Instead of clicking in the right corner for example, you need to use two fingers to click and get the context menu. You can do it anywhere on the trackpad.

So it changes it to one finger click for selecting and two finger click for context menus instead of where you click.
