iPhone backups on OS X Mountain Lion?

Hi!

I have just updated from 10.6.8 to Mountain Lion.

Where are the iPhone backups now (before: Mac HD/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup)?

Thank you!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion

~user/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup

I believe that's where it is in Snow Leopard as well, but I don't remember for certain. In Lion and Mountain Lion, though, the user's Library folder is hidden. You can access it by holding down the Option key and going to the Go menu in Finder.

Regards.

Just be careful, I nearly lost my wife's backup on Mountain Lion.

I was confused why the size of the backup in the location above (~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup) was not the same size as what Apple said the backup was.

There is a second location (thanks Daisy Disk) that your files may be backed up to. Check ~/Library/Application Support/iTunes/Mobile\ Backups

Thanks buddy. I coudn't find it after reading other posts until you explained how to find a hidden folder. Hold option and Go in the menu bar to expose the Library folder and then there is your MobileSync. Excellent.

I was trying to find the iPhone backup files to get a UDID for my iPhone that got stolen since I know the jumbled letters and numbers of the backup folder names is actually the UDID. Now if only I can find a hacker who can tell me which apple ID is using my stolen iPhone. 😕

I bug to differ but these other people say different in other places are there than other than your own.

reason why i you see i chosed to do this is bc iTunes won't work of how hard i try, i am a computer wiz and even my fast pc i just build with windows and soon to be run on OSX just the purpose of it that iTunes doesn't freeze on me all the da.m time of how many installs I try and do and results the same way

what ya see here is my 2 yr old i5 laptop while my brand new desktop runs the 4G i7 4770K Sabertooth.

and it still likes the freeze, iTunes wasnt made to be on windows.
