How to you search the body of a note in notes?

It would seem that you can't search the body of a note in Notes.app. I can't imagine such a simple thing was overlooked, am I doing something wrong? With the cursor in the body of the note, I type command+f and nothing happens. When I go to Edit > Find the normal search options are greyed out.User uploaded file

I'll second that. I need BADLY to be able to search within a note, not just find every note that contains my search criteria (though that's helpful too). Once I know which file contains what I need, I also need to search WITHIN that note for the specific place where the text occurs. For me, this is more than just a nice idea...it's something I really need.
