hotod47, Tomorrow I will go to the Apple store to see if they can help me. I will inform you what happens, in the afternoon.
I found this solution and it worked.
I have a new MacBook Pro and I followed these instructions, downlonading and installing the new Flash plugin. But when I looked in "/Library/Internet Plugins" there was no folder called "Disabled Plugins".
However, I did see two versions of Flash:
_Flash Player.plugin with old date
Flash Player.plugin with todays date
I deleted _Flash Player.plugin and this fixed the problem.
I tried this and it doesn't show the option "enable plug in" if I can't find that option then what else can I do
I have the same exact issue...
I installed the latest Adobe and erased all the old Flash Play files and Flash Player. plugin, and still can't fix it.
Somebody help meeeee!!!!
This is how I fixed it and it is easy. Go to
"/Library/Internet Plugins" In lion there is only one libraray and it oit is found in the root which is usually "MacIntosh HD" in the finder.
There will be 2 Flash plug-ins:
_Flash Player.plugin with old date
Flash Player.plugin with todays date
Delete the old date one.
The error is Adobe's. For some reason the new flash player update did not delete the old version and there was a conflict. This should solve the problem.
I only see one Flash Player.plugins dated yesterday.
However if you use google chrome this is not a problem - what are you doing to us Apple?
