My installation of Mountain Lion is stuck on "paused" at the bottom of the screen, HELP!!!

I started to install Mountain Lion onto my iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and I now have a “ghost" picture of a mountain lion at the bottom of the screen. When I hover my mouse over it, it tells me that it is paused. Whether it will pounce or not I don't know, but it seems to have paused for hours. I can't find a way of making it move. Is it stalking me silently? Will it wake up and growl loudly when I'm asleep? I think we should be told.

Does anyone know how to wake up a sleeping Mountain Lion when it is trying to replace a Snow Leopard?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

Click and hold and one of the options that pops up, IIRC, is resume. Alternatively, click on the MAS icon and resume it there.
