Just installed ML. Opened a PDF using Preview 6.0 (765). Can't find the ADD LINK function. It is suposed to be in the Annotate menu, but I can't find it. Anyone know where it is/went?

In Pages you can create links in documents that remain if you save the document as a PDF.
As for addking links to existing PDFs, I'm not sure what to suggest other than Adobe Acrobat which is a rather expensive option.
This seems like a rather glaring omisssion from Preview. I really think it's a mistake as even the Help file for Preview refers to creating links.

Yes, looks like someone left something out of Preview and the person doing the help didn't know they'd removed some of the core functionality. Seems like more dumbing down of the OSX apps to be more like iOS apps??? Too bad.
Found an app on the app store called PDF-EDITOR that allows you to add URL hyper links to PDFs. Seems to work fine.

Apple has acknowledged recieving the bug report.
What that means for a resolution remains unclear.

I can't imagine a reason they'd remove the ability. It just doesn't make sense.

Someone must have left a "rem statement" in the code! Strange it was not found. Also odd that help still references it as if the function was still there.

They have a free trial version or spend $59.95 but I would prefer Apple to put this feature back in preview as I used it on a DAILY basis for PDF documents. I don't want to use two programs.
