Having trouble deleting apps from Launchpad...

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion, and Launchpad was working fine, but then as I was editing my apps within launchpad, suddently the option to delete apps or edit folders withing Launchpad went away. The little "x's" just dissappeared.

I'm still logged in as an admin and everything, I rebooted to no effect.

Any suggestions?

I have to press and hold "Option" or click and hold on any app.

Mountain Lion Launchpad.

Hi Folks,

have exactly the same problem too ... and holding down the option key puts my App in "jiggling", but no "x" appears like in the screenshot from "jordanfromallyn". How to proceed?
