Launchpad utilities folder is now "other"

After upgrading from the latest version of Lion to Mountain Lion, in Launchpad my "Utilities" folder is now labled "Other" and there is no "Utilities" folder. In the Applications folder the Utilities folder is there and appears to be correct.

I tried going to ~/Libraries/Application Support/Dock and removing the ".db" file and then running killall Dock. Launchpad rebuilt the applications list but the "Utilities" folder still had "Other". What in the world is going on?

I have also re-installed Mountain Lion from safe-mode. No luck there either.

Any help?

Hi Dave,

I know it's been a long time, and you are probably living with the 'Other' folder name by now but...

you can rename the folders!

Click on the folder icon to open it.

Click on the title of the folder which moves to the top-left of the folder area.

The title should turn into an editable text box.

Hope this helps- must say I was happier when my utilities folder regained its proper name!
