RFC conform?

I am having a difficult time forwarding certain messages. I get a response ina pulldown menu stating something like you are not conforming to RFC standard 83....

When I forward the same e-mail to myself I don't have this problem. Any suggestions on what to do?

Sorry I can't remember the exact text...

Thanks,

Keith

Greetings,

The likely cause is that the return address that you have setup for the account you are using does not match the domain of the SMTP server you are using. For example, if you are forwarding these messages using your .Mac email address the domain would be mac.com and it is expected that the return address of the account doing the sending would end in mac.com. If you have your account setup with a different email address some SMTP servers will complain of this mismatch and bounce the message as SPAM.

If this is not the case, please post details of the error.

I have a couple of accounts and they each send me a different message when I switch between them after I get the message delivery failed menu.
In one message it states:
The server response was: "Your message does not conform to RFC2822 standard"

While in the second it states that it doesn't recognize port 25.

I try each one in the menu on the message delivery failed menu.

Help would be most appreciated.
