I have late 2011 Macbook Pro I dont see the power nap feature after I upgraded to mountaion lion has anyone else seen this problem

I've read that powernap is only for MacBook Airs and rMBP's

Not to be that guy,
but it will only work with Macs with built in SSD's and built in Batteries which are the MBA's and the rMBP's only.
for instance, I have a MBP with two SSD's in it, and I do not have power nap. Just clarification.
