Mountain Lion UI Lag on rMBP !!! (Let's Make this thread serious and hope for a fix)

I personally think the UI lagging bug is a serious issue on rMBP because this machine cost $2000 and up and it lags on UI features such as Mission Control and Space Switching while classic Macbook pros don't. I do understand that the retina display models carries a high resolution display, but I think the quad core CPU should have the ability to handle it (please correct me if I am wrong)

I am hoping and asking anyone experiencing the issue to follow up with this thread and post your concerns. Let's hope for a fix soon and we can really enjoy the beauty a Retina Macbook Pro brings to us.

Dear All,

I have the same problem since yesterday night... Diablo 3 has always run very smoothly in 1920 and now it's just laggy, as well as OS X interface...

I've reset SMC and PRam, force the nVidia, installed nVidia drivers update, disk utility, etc... nothing!

Nothing has change between 5pm and 10pm yesterday and my computer was running perfcectly since I received it 2 months ago...

Tomorrow I'll call the Apple Care and hope for the best.

So guys, I got my rMBP back yesterday. There are two possibilities which could cause the lag. The graphic card or SSD. My graphic card was changed by the tecnician and unfortunatelly there is still a lag. So he assumes that the SSD must have a defect because running the macbook with an extern HDD was very smooth he said. He couldn't try my SSD because I had forgotten to give him my password for login. So I will inform you after my SSD has changed.
