Mountain Lion UI Lag on rMBP !!! (Let's Make this thread serious and hope for a fix)

I personally think the UI lagging bug is a serious issue on rMBP because this machine cost $2000 and up and it lags on UI features such as Mission Control and Space Switching while classic Macbook pros don't. I do understand that the retina display models carries a high resolution display, but I think the quad core CPU should have the ability to handle it (please correct me if I am wrong)

I am hoping and asking anyone experiencing the issue to follow up with this thread and post your concerns. Let's hope for a fix soon and we can really enjoy the beauty a Retina Macbook Pro brings to us.

What IS the surprise if there IS a recall? It's not like they haven't had a recall before! In fact, I welcome it! It proves that Apple has been working hard to resolve this problem and that any defective units will be replaced with a brand new, properly working machine! It simply can't be a coincidence that my second replaced unit is exhibiting the exact same symptoms! C'mon Apple, let's hear your say in this!

The most annoying bug for me is when I put the macbook in sleep and when I wake up it the clock in the menu bar shows incorrect time, it's always some minutes forward. Then I have to open the system preferences, click on date & time, system preferences crashes and the clock shows the right time.

They said in apple bug report system that it's a known bug but I'm waiting since September for the fix.

Someone has this bug?

This isn't true. I have now had two 2.3ghz models and both are consistent with lag so I do not think it has anything to do with the processor. As I have read alot elsewhere and the problem everyone seems to be saying (even an ex apple technician) is the scaling problem for that many pixels in which obviously the integrated gpu is not made for. Hence the reason the 1400x900 resolution runs the best results as it is exactly half on the full resolution and why another scaled resolution runs alot worse with the UI lag. So very disappointed and even more so that I continue to use this machine I go further past the point of no return to a normal MacBook because being a video and photo editor the screen itself is flawless and beautiful, feeling like I need glasses when looking at a regular MBP.
