Feb 14, 2013 3:47 AM in response to quentin DEWEZby Wizzra,I can honestly say that while it *** u can't use the higher resulotions due to OSX ML inability to switch to the GPU, I still can work in the native resulotion (best for retina) just fine and I enjoy this amazing machine.
I do hope the engineers will come with an overhaul to OSX ML to fully support retina machines

Feb 14, 2013 4:18 AM in response to poidetby Wizzra,I don't have any lag issues while in 'Best for Retina' (15" 2.6 with 8gig version), only when I use the higher resulotions.

Feb 14, 2013 4:26 AM in response to Wizzraby Ahzari,That's redic.. I've tested over a dozen machines (5 of them mine) all of them have lag issues. The only time lag is reduced is when automatic graphics switching is turned off, meaning the intel graphics are not used - all machines have been set to best for retina display. Apparently you have the one lone computer that works properly in this forum.. Odd.

Feb 14, 2013 4:52 AM in response to dscielby EPO@,Seriously, this is like the 1000x times video's has been posted, also like the 100000000 non-constructive moaning post about how angry you are.. Just stop that nonsense, as this topic is becoming impossible to read anymore. If you have any new developments which could lead to solve this issue, please post. If your here just to let everyone know how angry or dissapointed you are, please stay away.

Feb 14, 2013 5:00 AM in response to EPO@by Wizzra,EPO,
yes I understand. But people has been frustrated for so long now about it.
Here is my 2cents anyway:
Ever since I owned Mac (A Mac Mini for few years), there used to be a real memory hog app: Dashboard.
Even if u swiped by mistake to the Dashboard (widget window) mac OS (X) would launch those widgets and take upto 500mb+- memory out of your system (more widgets, more memory). You can clearly see it in 'Activity Monitor' app.
Since I learned about it back than, everytime I got a new mac or reinstalled OS(X) I'd remove it (disable) completely.
In terminal:
defaults write com.apple.dashboard mcx-disabled -boolean YES
killall Dock
Those who suffers the lags try it, I know that I did it and I don't have any issues with lags anyway.

Feb 14, 2013 5:17 AM in response to poidetby Wizzra, poidet,
Yes, that's a redraw issue indeed when u open and close the app drawer.
However I don't have any lags like I pointed.

Feb 14, 2013 5:26 AM in response to Ahzariby TheWaveable,I don't have the lag issue anymore either. I fixed it bye the autocad method.
You can find it further back in this thread.
I have one problem though, it wont go to sleep with AC power in.

Feb 14, 2013 5:36 AM in response to Wizzraby poidet, you really thinking that 2500 USD is not the reason to have good device without so many problems, mistakes, bugs etc .... ?
Now I see why quantity who complain is much more lesser than other
I just make small video, you can see how much HiDPI mode slower than Usual mode
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTHk9_40J2I&feature=youtu.be
Yes they did it faster than it was at summer, but there are a lot of problems with sleeping mode, with perfomance in GUI, sometimes you can see so many bugs that you can't imagine how they released it ?
I'm developer and using that machine for 8-10 hours per day, I know what i'm saying.
