Does anyone know if Apple pulled the SMC update for the Macbook Pro Retina? I can no longer see it as an update in the app store. I am refering to the update that enables power nap on the Macbook Pro Retina.

Are you sure you have seen the update for the Retina? I haven't seen it or read about it. I've only seen news stories about an update for the MacBook Airs.
Yes, I saw it as an update for a minute in the app store but then it disappeared. It is available for manual download on Apple's website but I am just wondering why I can no longer see it as an automatic update. Do you have a Macbook Pro with retina that you can check on to see if it is available as an update?
Oh snap. You are right. Let me boot into my Mountain Lion and see if it pops up for me.
Are you sure it isn't already applied? If it is applied it shouldn't show up...
Edit: Just opened up software update on 10.7.4 and it shows the update 🙂

Run your update check. I did and it came up. It didn't take long at all. Very briefly do your fans increase and then go back to normal. It seemed like it was just a few seconds. Most impressed by how quickly it went. 🙂
For some reason it is not showing as an update for me anymore. Might be a Mountain Lion update issue.
It showed up in my ML App Store.

and I don't have the update installed.

I have the same version of SMC; therefore, I don't have the update installed. I have no idea why the update is not showing in the app store anymore for me.
I went to the apple and chose check for update. It opened the App store and processed and then told me there was an update and what it was and that my computer needed to be connected to a power cord and that it would reboot and that the fans would speed up and then return to normal. I ran it and it did not take long at all.
