iTunes doesn't work on my ipad2

When I open the music section of this, it automatically crashes. I can't see any music and it only stays open a millisecond so it seems. I have an ipad2 and as far as I can tell, I have plenty of space on it to be able to open the app. Any suggestions?i can see all of my purchased music is saved in iCloud but when I want to listen to it...nothing..I can't do a thing!

Are you referring to the Music app on your iPad, or the iTunes app which connects to the iTunes store?


In either case, it might be worthwhile following the steps listed at http://www.apple.com/support/ipad/assistant/ipad/. Restarting your iPad will hopefully be enough, but if that doesn't have any effect then you might have to restore. Note that a restore deletes all your media and setting though.
