Q: TOP LINE OF THE QWERTY KEYBOARD IS NOT RESPONDING TO TOUCH

Hi there has anyone had an issue with I Pod touch in search with part of the keyboard not responding to screen touch.

I have tried updating software that has not helped, also it appears the area works in other modes that is maps or clculator. Help please

iPod touch, iOS 5.1.1

    Try restoring the iPod, first from backup and if problem persists restore to factory settings/new iPod. If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
