Reminders Screen "Invisible"

I have just loaded Mountain Lion on a 2010 IMAC and the Reminders App starts up but the screen appears translucent, I can see the outline on the desktop but it has no content. I cannot see any content (See image below, the outline you can see is the REMINDERS window sitting on top of the desktop image). All reminders are appearing on my iphone and ipad but I cannot see them at all on my IMac. Also when I switch to the REMINDERS app the FILE menu does not display any content when it is clicked on. Anyone have a solution to this?

No nothing as yet.

The weird thing is, is that I have separate logins for my kids on the same Mac and they have no issues using reminders when they are logged in, it is only me as admin. I have even tried turning off 3rd party plugins but the problem still persisits.

Adding my two cents as well. Worked until yesterday as far as I can remember.. Hope there is a solution somewhere?

Resetting your Mac's PRAM has helped for me, this was however simply a bandaid fix. If you reset the PRAM the Reminders bug is fixed, bus as soon as I restart my computer it occurs again. Hopefully a fix comes out soon.

Anyone else here running a Kesington usb adapter for another monitor? I found another forum online stating their software was the cause for the issue, if you have the usb adapter plugged in when starting your Mac.

Unfortunately I did not copy down the link to the article when I saw it, and have not had time to locate it since then. However, I've made it a habit to start my Mac with it unplugged and plug it back in once I am at the desktop. So far I have not had the issue occur again when doing this.

You have to delete your iCloud account and then reinstall it.

The problem accures because of an iCloud problem

This issues seems to have fixed itself over the last week as REMINDERS screen now showing up as it is supposed to. Did not really do anything or change anything just kept all apps up tp date!
