Sep 23, 2012 4:43 PM in response to StLMacAttorneyby DavidB9000,I was upset about this too until I realized that BusyCal has variable snooze control, with more flexibility than the old iCal one (snooze for x minutes, hours or days, not just fixed intervals).

Yes--very disappointing. Any good alternatives (other than staying with BusyCal 1 as long as it keeps working)?

Oct 23, 2012 12:47 PM in response to DavidB9000by Jordan186,I'm facing the same problem--hanging onto BusyCal 1 for now, but what's the longer-term solution? It seems crazy that Notification Center doesn't just allow for a long click on Snooze to bring up variable snooze options. Has anyone experimented with Due?

Jan 7, 2013 10:26 AM in response to Chris0071by branfordman54,Why pull out a core function of a core app? This is very frustrating and yet another disappointment in the Mountain Lion OS. What is Apple thinking?!?

Jan 9, 2014 9:39 AM in response to branfordman54by jaspersf,This is one of the most (but certainly not the only) boneheaded things Apple has done. This rates along side their discontinuance of 17" laptops. I fear for our future...
HOWEVER, I just found an App that adds variable snooze functionality to notifications. No need to use a different calender or reminder app. It works with iCal! I just started using SNOOZEMASTER today- and so far, so good!

Jan 9, 2014 10:56 AM in response to jaspersfby oncfari,THANK YOU! I can't fathom why they don't fix this yet. It can't be that big a deal, and it's just common sense! Is it fixed in Mavericks, perhaps?

Jan 10, 2014 2:08 AM in response to jaspersfby kenem,Thanks for this, Snoozemaster is pretty much like reminders use to be.
In answer to oncfari; it's not fixed in Mavericks.
Just a thought; are Apple leaving room for developers to earn a crust and also boost their own app sales?
