AppleTV Home sharing not working

this used to work great... for years now... I have an appletv 2 and have had no issues... then about a month ago I went to use it and nothing...

both the appletv and itunes share the same network and itunes account... I can not connect with my iPhone, iPod touch, iTunes or using Airfoil.... I have reset my network several times... and nothing works... Netflix works on my AppleTv along with youtube and the built in movie and itunes store apps work fine...

the only thing that does not work is home sharing... I have all the latest patches applied...

So what can I do... I am getting pretty PO'd at this point... it doesn't work and there is no diagnostic that works...

so nothing... this is obvousily a bug/problem in apple tv2's last update... it worked fine for years now... now nothing can connect to it... not ipad... ipod touch... androids using third party...

the whole reason I use apple stuff is it ussually just works... what is up here.... sure won't be buying a new apple tv anytime soon...

I am also having the same problem. Along with this update, I get a strange HDCP error saying I cannot watch any movie I have PAID to rent from Apple, nor can I watch Netflix.

This Apple TV is now rendered completely useless by the incomptence of Apple and their awful software update.

Apple products have been getting progressivly worse the past few years. This draws the line. I will never purchase an Apple product ever again.
