Can I back up an ipod touch that is locked and password not known? My 8 year old daughter doesn't remember her password but we want to save the pictures she has taken recently.

- Connect the iPod to the computer aand see if yu can make a backup by:
iOS: How to back up. Then restore via iTunes. If you can make a backup then restore from that backup.
- Place the iPod in Recovery mode if necessary to allow the restore. This erases the iPod.
Do you know if any recent pictures can be backed up and saved?

You can always see if the password is her birthday or yours!
