Is there a way to use iTunes 7 backup library DVD-R disks created on a Windows XP PC to move the music library to a new Macbook Pro running Mountain Lion? 99% of the songs were loaded into iTunes 7 directly from CDs. I still have all the CDs but would like to avoid loading each individually. The new Macbook Pro will be regestered and used primilary by one of my kids that was previously using iTunes 7 on my old Windows XP .

You should use Windows Migration Asistant to move all your data (you can pick and choose), not just iTunes.
