What is the purpose of the flaps on the 85W new MagSafe 2 power adapter?
When looking over the new MagSafe 2 85W charger, I can't help but wonder about the two hidden flaps on the converter portion of the device. While holding the converter with the cord protruding from the from the right, and the prongs (or extension cord) facing left, two hidden flaps can be pulled out from the top right and bottom right of the device. Does anyone know what for what purpose Apple included these flaps?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin
P.S. My only idea is that they are built to stabilize the converter if you wish to stand it upright.
P.P.S. If you don't actually know, but have an idea, offer it up. Any ideas would be great.
