Mountain Lion - 'An error has occurred'

Hi, I bought Mountain Lion yesterday on my iMac and began to download it, as well as on my MacBook Pro. My MBP successfully installed the new OS X, but my iMac App Store simply says 'An error has occurred'. I have tried resarting my computer and re-logging in to my Apple ID account, with no luck. Thank you in advance for your help 🙂

This sort-of worked for me... I had to go about a modified route... once signed out, i had to REBOOT. Then I could sign back in after REBOOT and re attempt another download. So far so good, that was the only thing that worked.

Remember, you might have to REBOOT after signing out, then sign back in.

For all of you others with my funny issue.....

Here's the funny thing though, I noticed that OS X Lion (Not Mountain Lion) was still in my queue also in the APP store. I had purchased it through the APP store when it was brand new, but had to take an alternate route to install it because the APP store was buggy at the time and the install kept failing. Someone else on the web had the same problem, and had simple directions to make the download into a BOOTABLE ISO (That I made to install it from disk).

Long story short, Apple doesn't recognize that I have this already installed via the alternate route (making my own ISO from the original download so I could install off of a DISK rather than the APP store), so the DOWNLOAD icon is lit.

So in short, I hope that after I download the new MOUNTAIN LION that APP store won't think I have a bogus copy of regular LION and it will let me install. I'll keep you folks posted.
